The State of Louisiana intends to use funds from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to re-build medical services in New Orleans. When Federal funds are used, the Federal agency must evaluate potential environmental impacts of the proposed action pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA). FEMA and the State have prepared this website to provide information to the public for the site-specific design, construction, and operation of the proposed project. As information about the NEPA process becomes available, the agencies will post it on this website. Such information might include announcement of public meetings, design alternatives, draft Environmental Assessments, etc.
